Our journey to the forefront of the prepared fruit industry, has been built on the foundations of high-quality Fresh Cut fruit, passionate people and innovative Fresh Thinking.

Established in 2012, building on prior experience supplying washed, ready-to-eat blueberries, our ambition was to take an innovative approach to supplying prepared fruit to the UK retail market. Our product range has evolved rapidly over the last decade, powered by our widescale fruit procurement experience and market-leading insight, making us the fastest growing prepared fruit company in the UK.

A NEW SITE FOR A NEW DECADE

Our new purpose-designed site offers us a significant increase in our production capacity, allows to further expand our product range and underlines our commitment to quality and compliance.

Having reached full capacity in our previous site, our new facilities in Northfleet, Kent will ensure we are able to build on the last decade of growth. The site provides a futureproof 'everything under one roof' offering and enables our business to better serve customer needs now, and in the future.

With sustainability at the forefront of our focus, the new site provides huge advances in efficiency compared to our previous site with a sophisticated integrated HVAC system and a high insulation production area for better fruit quality and reduced thermal loss. In addition to this are many smaller-scale but impactful upgrades, such as LED lighting and effective waste management systems.

The by-product of our increased capacity is the positive impact on the local community, by providing an increase in work opportunities for local residents and growing our community collaboration projects. We look forward to furthering the work that we already do, such as supporting food education in local schools, national food waste charity FareShare and local homeless organisations such as House of Mercy.

DEVELOPING OUR OFFER WITH QUALITY & INNOVATION

Our focus on quality has ensured we offer value to our customers, but our mission goes beyond quality, we seek progress through Fresh Thinking and our customers have grown to recognise us as a leading innovator in the category.

We have a fantastic track record of innovation over our 10 years. We are the only supplier to produce fresh prepared pomegranate arils here in the UK, meaning fresher, longer-lasting, tastier pots of pomegranate seeds. In addition, we were the UK pioneers in fresh cut banana and the only supplier producing significant quantities globally. Finally, continuing our innovation journey, we have recently successfully launched an innovative breakfast and snack pot brand – ‘Oh My Fruity Goodness’.

With our BerryWorld Group heritage the BerryWorld award-winning berry varieties remain a key part of our offering but are now complemented by proven expertise in core and complex tropical lines such as mango and pineapple, kiwis, coconut and pomegranates. We now have the ability to source over 30+ fruit types for our fresh cut packs. Our procurement expertise and appetite for innovation has fast-tracked us to be market leaders in the supply of mixed packs.

With our extensive experience and new facilities, we're excited to see what new innovations and product development we can bring to market.
