Shift Pattern: 4on 3off, different shifts available, including weekends.

Hours:

  • Day Shift: 5.30am to 17.30pm
  • Night Shift: 18:30 to 05:30am

Salary: £10.40-£13.50/hour-Days or £10.90-£14.00/hour-Nights

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Team Leader, ideally with background in food production/manufacturing, to join our team on permanent basis.

Key responsibilities:

  • Training and supporting area Multi skilled operator
  • Carry out machinery start up checks and report anomalies
  • Ensure safe use of our facilities and equipment, while also ensuring safe environment
  • Ensure the safety, legality and quality of our products, while ensuring CCP’s are adhered to
  • Management of production staff in your line/area of responsibility
  • Attend weekly meetings with Supervisor to analyse previous week, identify areas of concern and report preventive measures
  • Ensure efficient labour usage to meet business targets
  • Liaise daily with Supervisors on production targets
  • Be the first point of contact in designated area of responsibility
  • Understand and challenge area efficiencies
  • Attend taste panels and encourage reporting team to follow
  • Set example and enforce company policies and procedures
  • Deputises on Production Supervisor absences

    • GT machine operation (desirable not essential)
